General information
The refinery was commissioned ~1988/1989 and shut down in 1990. The topping plant type oil refinery was mothballed under Nitrogen.
One refinery is dismantled and stored for shipping. One more is also available and has to be dismantled.
Particularly, the refinery processed heavy crude oils API 23.7 – 34, with Sulphur contents of 2.0 – 3.63. Under Heavy Crude Oil operation, the capacity is 13,000 bpd.
Processed feed Crude Oils: Basrah Regular, Medium and Heavy.
Products: Naphtha, Diesel, Fuel Oil
